Marketing Positioning
Establishing the positioning of any organisation is the most important thing you will ever do. So what does it mean?
Your positioning defines these things:
- what you have to offer
- who is going to be willing to give you money
- who your competition is
It encompasses in a nutshell everything that you are about. It is worked out formally and runs right through every aspect of your business.
It defines the whole point of your business. It's that fundamental.
I have a proven method of helping you fix your positioning. It is quite simple, but difficult to do. Once you have it, though, it will save you so money and time. For example, your positioning will lead you to new customers and tell you how to communicate with them. It will guide the words you use to talk to them. It will direct the development of new products. It will help you fix your pricing.
Some businesses have worked this out without realising it. Some businesses never work it out, but you have to be quick to catch them, as they're unprofitable and will eventually disappear.
